Finals Pre-Sale Tickets: Pre-Sale Football tickets for the
DIII State Finals Football game will be on sale in the Athletic
Office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during school hours and
until 7:30pm on Wednesday. Pre-sale tickets are $7, tickets
are $9 at the gate. All tickets are reserved seating.
No passes are accepted. Everybody must purchase a ticket to
get in. Note: Please purchase your tickets from the Licking
Valley Athletic Program if possible. LVHS does not receive any
of the proceeds when you purchase your ticket at the gate.

Storm
Klein scored his 25th Touchdown of the season to cap off what
Coach Baughman called "one of the better drives in the history
of our school." It included two end-arounds, a
season saving fumble recovery and a touchdown run ending with
a big push.
Trailing
Northwest early in the 4th quarter, the Panthers offense started
a 9 minute and 5 second drive to the end zone. Drew Ryan's
first end-around at second and 12 successfully led to his
second end-around to pick up the Panthers first down. A few
plays later Josh Bailey had the ball stripped threatening
to end Valley's season but Cody Hammond saved the day by recovering
the ball and then adding a 9 yard gain. The drive ended with
Nick Phillips and Cole Blake powering Storm Klein into the
end zone and sending the Panthers to the DIII State Semifinal.
Scoring: Ryan 16 yard TD pass from Phillips. Bailey 14
yard TD run. Klein 1 yard TD run. German 3 extra points. |

Licking Valley 42 Granville 21
At the Division III, Region 11 playoff game at Randy Baughman
Stadium the Panthers came out strong and defeated Granville
42-21. The Panthers will take on Beloit West Branch in the
next playoff game. Good Luck Panthers.

Licking Valley defeated Columbus Academy 49-21 in the last
season game of the year. Scoring for the Panthers were Klein
12 yard TD run and a 4 yard TD run. Bailey 4 yard TD run.
Rakestraw 10 yard TD run. Ratai 47 yard TD pass from Ryan.
Phillips 3 yard TD run. Blake 45 yard TD run. German scored
7 extra points.

Licking Valley 50 Lakewood 13
The 7-1 Panthers won at home 50-13 over Lakewood. Phillips
completed 9 of 15 passes for 193 yards and had a 1-yard touchdown.
Kuhlwein caught four passes for 124 yards, a 57 TD catch and
a 29 yard TD catch. German had 5 PATs and a 31 yard FG. On
October 19th the Panthers will host Newark Catholic at 7:30pm.

Licking Valley 51 Whitehall 7
Licking Valley came out fighting strong at the Homecoming
game where they defeated Whitehall 51-7. Storm Klein rushed
for three touchdowns and Nick Phillips threw two TD passes
to Mike Kuhlwein. Phillips completed 7 of 8 passes for 218
yards. Drew Ryan had three catches for 114 yards, and Kuhlwein
had two catches for 77 yards. On October 5th Licking Valley
will be hosted by Granville at 7:30pm.

Licking County 24 Muskingum Valley 0

Muskingum Valley - Licking County All Star Game played on July
21, 2006 on the Licking County Team. Licking County threw
